ART on the Square's 20th Anniversary Summer Season is a series of four juried shows on Hamilton Ave at Courthouse Square in the heart of downtown Redwood City. Our shows complement Music on the Square, Redwood City’s Friday evening summer concerts. We present the best in fine arts and fine crafts in an attractive, relaxing, and fun shopping environment.

Apply for the Holiday Show in the gorgeous San Mateo County History Museum on Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City. We have spaces for artists on two floors under the spectacular stained glass dome. Artists’ space fees, along with funding from our generous sponsors, allow the museum to be free to the public on the day of the show. Details regarding fees, deadlines, jurying, and waitlists are in the application.

ART on the Square features the best in fine arts and crafts by amazing artisans. We believe that art creates strong and vibrant communities.
Our mission is to bring art to Redwood City and Redwood City to art. We present four Summer Season Shows and one Holiday Show at Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City.
We are working artists and understand the time and effort involved to create, promote, and show your work.
We strive to keep our fees reasonable, provide an efficient and understandable application process, do extensive marketing that brings shoppers to our shows, and make load-in and load-out as smooth and easy as possible.
